In this talk, Kelly debunks some of the clickbait that we are so used to seeing and challenges the disjointed headlines that are often written to show that whilst sustained levels of high stress can cause illness, it can also be positive.
Stress can prepare our body for action, help us become more social and stimulate the need for connection. One study even showed that those who spent time helping others or caring for their community reported no increased stress compared to those that didn't.
